1 lb hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 pound can of tomatoes-diced
1 can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1-2 tsp chili powder
1 bay leaf (optional)--tastes better with!!
Cook meat, onions and green pepper until meat is browned and veggies are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for an hour or until you're ready to eat. Remove by leaf. Serve with Fritos, grated cheese, sour cream and green onions.
