Monkey Bread

I made this tonight and could not stop eating it. I sort of made up the amounts of the ingredients and it worked out beautifully. This would also be great for breakfast. Make it the night before so you don't have to thaw out the dough in the morning.

1 loaf of frozen bread dough or rhodes rolls
1/4 C. chopped walnuts (optional but better with them)
1/3 C. Sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 C. brown sugar
2 teaspoons water

Directions: Pre-heat oven to 350. Thaw out the dough for a few hours and rise. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. spray a bunt pan or small round casserole dish with cooking spray and sprinkle bottom with chopped walnuts. Break the thawed dough into balls about half the size of a golf ball. These should be bite size pieces and not a big roll when you eat them.  The frozen loaf made about 20 balls. Roll them in the cinnamon and sugar mixture and place them in the pan. I did not have a bunt pan so I just used my pyrex glass casserole dish. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the brown sugar and water and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Pour over rolls. Bake for 23-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes. Pull apart and eat.
This seriously tasted like something they should sell at cinnabon. So yummy
